Anyone seen the new series on Sportscenter "Whos Now?" If you watched it today the matchup is between A-Rod and T.O. The panel discussion that ensued had an interesting point where one of the panelists noted that both A-Rod and T.O. play for the "elite of the elite" in their respective leagues.

A couple things.
First, I don't give a fuck who is more "now". There is no need for Herbstreit, Me-shawn and Wilbon to be debating this. I think espn should instead go to the set of TRL and get two middle school girls to debate who is more "now". I'm not even sure its a good thing to be more "now". god i hate that debate.
Second, I don't think the 'boys want to be grouped with the Yankees. I'm not sure how those idiots are defining elite of the elite, but right now the yankees are 2 games under .500, and behind some team from freaking Canada.
A couple things:
First, I agree with you on ESPN being like MTV with this thing. Of course, wouldn't that make a person like you want to watch it even more J-nice?
Second, whether you like the Yankees or not, (I don't) they are the elite team in MLB. Yes they suck this year, and it's nice, but they have probably dominated that league more so than any team in any sport.

The Yankees are an elite franchise, but not an elite team. I'm not hating on the Cowboys, in fact, the opposite. I think the Cowboys are an elite franchise like the Yankees. However, the Cowboys, i think will at the very least make the playoffs this year, so grouping them with the Yankees is pretty shitty. I mean the Yankees are a bunch of overpaid shitheads who aren't gonna win a damn thing this year. I know you guys don't want the same thing for the Cowboys.
As for the debate on who is more "now". How about this debate for you two. What is more "now", my cock or my balls? Get after it gut packs and commish.
